Did you miss us? Be honest. We certainly missed you.
After a little time out of the spotlight, Gay Agenda is officially open for business again. The shelves are stocked, the kettle is on, and we've given Dachi-kun a very stern talking-to about behaving himself in front of guests.
A whole new look
We've rebuilt the shop from the ground up. It's faster, it's much friendlier on your phone (let's be real, that's where you're shopping from, probably on the Yamanote line) and it now speaks six languages: English, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Tagalog. Wherever you're reading this from, there's a version of us that talks your talk.
What's on the rails
Some old favourites have come home, and a few new faces have moved in:
- I am a Top: for those who like to make their position clear, in a language the mama-san will understand.
- Nakadori tee and baseball hat: a love letter to Ni-chome's main drag. Wear it there, wear it home, wear it to brunch the next day.
- Tsurumi Brats tank tops: designed with Tokyo's inclusive rugby club and Japan's only IGR team. Look good, support grassroots rugby. Everybody wins.
- D-Tective: our collaboration with Don Cortez, the Mayor of Nichome himself, in both English and Japanese.
Still the same us
Twelve years on, the important bits haven't changed. We're still gay owned and operated, everything is still made in Japan, and we still ship worldwide. If you can get a parcel, you can get a little Agenda.
The blog is back too
We've dusted off the blog for news, stories and the people behind the prints. Including one from the vaults from our founder Raikun85, and his guide to gay life in Japan. Even 8 years on, it is still essential reading before your first night out in Ni-chome.
Come join the party
Have a browse, find something fabulous and show it off. Tag us on Instagram when your order lands, we love to see it.
Welcome back, darlings. We kept your seat warm.
