Don Cortez
Don AKA The Mayor of 2Chome (Tokyo gay area) is an American Scrabble enthusiast, social butterfly, avid people watcher and LGBTQIA+ and pop culture connoisseur. Since double majoring in Political Science and Japanese Language and Culture at Eastern Michigan University, he has been working in product development and marketing while living in Japan for over 15 years. Don enjoys creating through include YouTube, cooking, singer-songwriting, music production, singing, dancing, acting, MC’ing and drag. “D-Tective” is his first foray into writing and printed media. He plans to continue creating more chaotic, fun, adult themed booklets.
Don believes it doesn’t matter how much you age ー everyone is capable of learning something new that can change one’s outlook in a positive way.
